Exactly Flayre. I concede that I will be paying less than if fees were paid annually, but given I have to take a loan out to pay this 'graduate endowment', it really makes no difference to me how I am charged. The claim that fees are abolished may be true, but they have been substituted also. Would anyone like to defend good old Charlie for missing the Terrorism debate so he could prepare to go on TV? And how about giving prisoners the vote? Does that make sense? These people are societal outcasts, being punished for breaking the rules we lay down. There is no basis for giving them the vote and in fact I find it offensive that the idea should be peddled by the LibDems, or anyone for that matter. You know what they say, 'In politics, being ridiculous is more dangerous than being extreme'.
