If I could only listen to one song for the rest of my life...

...it would be:

Aztec Camera's 'Somewhere in my heart'.

Not because it's by any means brilliant, nor does it hold particularly special memories.

It just rocks.

'Do you remember how long the days were when you were a child?'

Edited because I called them Camera Obscura. More coffee is required methinks.

angie by the rolling stones. very depressing but brilliant and reminds me of my last summer at home (motorbikes, the beach, work, beer, festivals...)

The bird with the thorn in its breast, it follows an immutable law. It is driven by it knows not what to impale itself, and die singing. At the very instant that the thorn enters there is no awareness in it of the dying to come; it simply sings and sings until there is not the life left to sing another note. But we, when we put the thorns in our breasts, we know. We know and still we do it. Still we do it.

Cream - Crossroads. Although this isn't the original of this song, it's a truly amazing version with some awesome guitarring. I don't know when i first heard it, and I doubt it holds special memories either, It's just ace.

Tempted to say The Mars Volta - Cassandra Gemini because it's 26 minutes long and ace as well. :S

Get your moneys Worth with Amarok by Mike Oldfield. Not only is it the single greatest piece of music ever made, its 60 minutes long, in one track. Ultimate jukebox playtime.

"This Side" by Nickel Creek - it's saved me more than once.

Our Prayer by the Beach Boys. Just because it's Acapella and pure harmony, and makes me cry every time I hear it.

I think it would have to be either Bonnie Tyler's version of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" or Nightwish's "Ghost Love Score"

Well today I have listened to "Take me home country roads" by John Denver about a million times. The chances are however that I would get bored of it eventually.

One song that I think I will never get bored of though is "Our Farewell" by Within Temptation so I would probably go with that one.

Silence is the Question-The Bad Plus

What more could you want than Jazz-fusion piano, upright bass and drums made into a power ballad?

In my opinion the choice of listening to one song for the rest o me life is the worse than being dumped by the love of ur life. For me personally there is no one song that i would want 2 listen to.

All songs are special in some way to a person at different times and to be deprived of a song that you know will make your life better at that moment yet you had to listen to a different song would kill me.

Take 2nite 4 instance i have just been in a heavy conversation and i want something to cheer me up and that is some Dogs die in Hot Cars. But tomorrow i may want to remember some good times that i had last summer with someone very special and i want to listen to Hotel Californea (Just Don't Ask about it) But then i may need something to cheer me up.

So to be confined to just one song will be hell for me.
Have you ever danced with the Devil in the Pale Moonlight!

That is a really tough one, at this precise moment perhaps Radiohead-'High and Dry', was listening to it today and just really like the song!

The Chemical Brothers - It Doesn't Matter

Because nothing else can make my life sound so right at the moment. It's not all bunnies and sunshine, but at least this track puts a smile as wide as they come on my face.
