Starsigns

Hey, what is everyone. Does anyone actually believe. I'm Taurus so meant to be steady but everyone tells me of for being dizzy - so therefore I prove the thery wrong.

I'm gemini, which means I have an evil twin (or am I the evil one?)

I'm last day of virgo- ergo, obsessive perfectionist, hyper critical---my reaction to dirty dishes anyone???? but also sometimes the first day of Libra (the end date of Virgo changes sometimes, dunno why)

So I am also a Libra- which explains why I talk non stop and never shut up.:-)

I;'m a Tauran, as is my twin brother (funny that). Taurans are over represented in the public sector, which is where i'm going into. There's something about their natures that makes them more likely to want to help people than advance themselves, or something.

I'm a Pisces, which is supposed to mean that I'm quiet, introverted and intelligent. Well, I used to be until I realised that it wasn't exactly cutting the cake for me, so now I try to pretend to be neither quiet, introverted nor intelligent, but really I remain all three. Ho hum. So much for the triumph of will over destiny, eh?

i'm a gemini on the cusp of cancer, according to the internet, which means:
I thrive on mental stimulation and arguments, tend towards moodiness and sensitivity, have a big imagination and am very expressive, with a love to learn, have a duel nature and can see both sides of a problem.. blah blah blah. they also add in an interest in "heredity and ancestors, and this is reflected in their desire to care for relatives and propagate the family line. " which could not be farther from the truth.

Maybe this should be on the random facts thread, but I'll post it here:

The zodiac actually contains 13 constellations, not just the 12 which star signs are named after. The zodiac is the belt of constellations through which the Sun appears to pass through over the course of one year.

This path formly went through 12 constellations, but due to precession (the wobble of Earth's orbit generated by out planets rotation and the fact that it is not a perfect sphere), it now contains a 13th
constellation - called Ophiuchus.

And if you want to know your true star sign, then go here:

That's really interesting about Ophiuchus, cos I used to be a lot louder as a kid. THese days I'm a lot more mellow, but very clean, tidy, perfectionist etc, and the revised zodiac with 13 signs puts me as a very firm virgo without even a hint of libra...hmm

I am a Leo - I think this pretty much describes me exactly.

Leo is expansive, generous and caring.
The typical Leo is flamboyant and generous
One of Leos most noted traits is too much pride, leading to pomposity and snobbery.

Too much pride? Well it's true I am superior to most people. And I am incredibly stubborn.

But enough of that - focus on the positive, eliminate the negative etc...
I am generous and caring.

The bright side of Leo is very bright indeed, "sunny side up" they are very much attuned to the life giving properties of our Sun itself. The typical Leo is flamboyant and generous with tremendous charm and a magnanimous spirit. The fixed quality of this sign does help to restrain a large dose of over-exuberance. Leos are loyal, self assured, hard working, and great organisers (only if they can be boss!)

Creative, generous, enthusiastic, organized (if bothered), broad minded, expansive, dramatic.

Bramble, you must really be having fun somewhere without internet access if you've missed this one.

I'm Cancer too...I think the usual Cancer characteristics describe me quite well. And they're meant to have good memories and enjoy history too!

I especialy liked the end: "1,032,349 planets were aligned when this article was written, affecting precisely dick. "

Would make a good signature methinks.

My boyfriend, brother, bestfriend, and the people I've always looked up too were always LEO people. They are so independent that I will always find them attractive, smart and warm hearted people. Apperantly, Taurus people are not the best match for them but the most marking points of my life have been the presents of these beings. They make a better friend then anything else. They will always be there for you, and as much as they love talking about themselves (heehee) they are sensative to you, loving, with a very noble heart ;-P

An Arien myself. I've found some of the supposed traits match me, however, once informed that I also had a moon and various other signs, with associated characteristics to add on, I realised how utterly guff it all was.

Astrologer: "You're an Arien - very stubborn dominant type person

***V.shy retiring blinky person looks blank***

Astrologer: "*Ahem* - however, ummm, your Moon & Jupiter signs clearly indicate a more retiring side to your personality"

***V.shy retiring blinky person leaves***
