Plus he supports St Johnstone albeit casually.

It'd be a pain too much to endure having an ex-hun for rector...

Two exciting candidates? Game on! Cue lots and lots of toy lightsabers about the place then...

After The Island and Star Wars, I think his schedule won't be so bad for quite a while.

One would be hard pressed to find a way for it to get any worse after those two...

I'd be very surprised if Mr. McGregor could maintain the monthly commitments required of a Rector in St.A, as much as it would be fun to have him! I mean if Ally McCoist cant make the commitments due to covering football matches and being a captain on Question of Sport, what says a Hollywood actor can uphold it?! (McCoist was nominated last time the elections were held)

By the way, would just like to say thanks to Freud, he started off his term pretty strong I think, with his own page in the Saint and everything, although publicly he seemed to wane, I understand he still did alot for the student cause both socially and in the courts (i.e. fighting bad landlords and setting up a student fund from all his public commitments)

For a man at his age I think this is an extreme form of goodwill on his part

Are there any videos of Sir Clement fighting bad landlords? I imagine he must have some mad martial art skills if he beat them, unless of course he just got kicked in the gutter a lot.

In any event, let's see the fights.

Flora Plum (2005) (in production)
Gnomeo and Juliet (2008) (pre-production)
The Great Pretender (2006) (pre-production)
Stormbreaker (2006) (filming)
Scenes of a Sexual Nature (2006) (filming)

Ewan might be quite busy actually...
