Question about men

I have a guy I really like. I see him at social functions etc, but not a that often. We go to debates together, but other than that we have little in common. I'm a rampant one world fair trade believing left winger, while he is conservative. I can't bring myself to go to conservative ents just on the off chance I might see him.

he's a fantastic conversationalist though (at first I didn't find him attractive, but he's really interesting, likes literature, takes everything anyone says seriously). he's a bit older than me, but only three years difference - so that shouldn't be too bad.

I often see him at parties also. I don't think he knows I like him as he has low self esteem when it comes to women and would not believe anyone could like him truly, what shall I do?

I have absolutely no secret crushes at the moment, even though there seem to be rumours that I indeed have two. One on a canadian management lecturer and one on a second year English student, who, I admit, isn't ugly, but he knows it and that's really unattractive. So, despite what everybody else might think, my heart is completely free from all infatuation at the moment... even though Canadians can be kinda cute

I find different guys attractive all the time, but I think I'm too old for the "crush" business. It's just what I interpret as normal adult ... well... lust.

It can resemble teenager-esque status when I'm very very drunk and for some reason find it reasonable to text them suggestive messages.
