How can old people drink tea so hot?

Postby terry towelling on Fri Nov 04, 2005 9:43 am

If you've not noticed this phenomenon, I suggest you invite an old person round for a cup of tea, and make it with the hosttest water you can, in a thermally insulated mug (no heat must escape!).
They'll've downed it before you've even had chance to stir your sugar in.

How do they do it? IT BURNS!

it's probably from back in the day when they used to breathe in asbestos. sure it gives them lung cancer but it also gives them super human tea drinking powers!
