Perfect Raisin receipt! A free fridge-freezer!

Postby JacAttack on Thu Nov 17, 2005 11:32 pm

If anyone wants a fridge-freezer to give their kids as a raisin receipt then i have one! It no longer works and am willing to give it away free to anyone that can pick it up - preferably before sunday lunchtime. I live on watson avenue (near kinnesburn road) so it's probably best if you live nearby if you're wanting to carry it away before giving it to your poor unsuspecting kids! Beware, it is your average full size fridge-freezer and is therefore very big, awkward and heavy! Let me know if you're interested. Happy raisin weekend everyone!

You chaps do know you now have to pay a good few hundered quid to get rid of a fridge? He should be paying you to take it off his hands Duncan.

I could actually get the council to take it away for free (or possibly 10 pounds - i can't remember). It just so happens i didn't want to get up at a ridiculous time in the morning so as to get the stupid thing out onto the street for 7am!

Oh, and i also thought it might make someone a nice raisin receipt.

Councils found that noone was willing to pay to dispose of such things are were just dumping them, hence 9 times out of 10 they'll waive the fee for residential waste pickup.
