As a student, I'm annoyed.

As a Tory, I'm absolutely delighted. Rejoice!

People say he's useless, but I've never seen it. He's certainly popular. Why do you see it?

It's interesting that the LibDems have very obviously gone for the opposite tactics to the Tories and New Labour: they've gone for a leader who doesn't present the young and dynamic image (with which I think many have become disillusioned), but instead have gone for charismatic old guard.

I'd much sooner vote for Sir Menzies than David Cameron.

On the subject of David Cameron, here's a brilliant opinion piece from the sublime Marina Hyde in the Grauniad a few weeks ago suggesting that David Cameron is in fact a hologram planted by space aliens to test the resolve of 21st century liberals:

maybe it's the fact that my head hurts and i'm tired, but that journalist manages to wrap what she means under such convoluted prose that it's hard to work out what she's getting at without rereading the paragraphs, in the manner of a joiner who is secure in the knowledge of being paid by the hour, regardless of application or results, a number of times to make sense of them.
