It was always a joy living on Murray Place. Somehow, no matter what the weather the Tudor was never our drinking hole of choice. Odd.

Amazingly yourself and Mr Wilson still get junk mail.

I must arrange to collect any you have next time I'm in town. I live for junk mail.

Are the people from before us still being hounded by debt collectors?

Many flavours of vodka??? Well then I wholeheartedly support it ;). I think I've been in Lafferty's twice, and it was OKish. But then my booze money belongs to the Union anyway.

No idea. I don't open any mail that isn't addressed to me.

Johnny Foxes own the Mallard bar in Dingwall. I think the owner is the "stop the ban" Publican Party founder. Never heard anything about the Inverness side of things.

a respectable company owns the mallard??!!!
I'm not only shocked that that dive is owned by a company and not an individual but surprised its known that they own it. although i doubt many people here will know of this bar Iain talks about.

That's the one where the average age of its customers is about 16, right? Or is that another Dingwall pub?
...but then again, that is only my opinion.

from what i've heard, the average might be closer to 12, but its the pub where all the school kids go and somehow get served.

im not sure if other dingwall pubs are like that too, i wouldnt be surprised.

im all for the union getting a refurb - i know it was done not that long ago but lets face it its pretty shit - theres no atmosphere and the seating is pretty uncomfortable - i say get some big comfy couches and actual tables and chairs that dont wobble and spill your drink everywhere.

i didnt say i was consistant, just right!
