Would someone be able to post a brief synopsis of the shows on here so I know what to go see? I'm too lazy to find out myself...

All in all, I'd say I prefer electrons to people.

Ok, this is really really long... but you asked for it! I've only got brief synopsis of some shows, but people can add more if they want. Just FYI all bar events are free! And each show is only a fiver. Also, if you buy 4 tickets you get the 5th free.
So here goes...

Tuesday 25 April
6pm - Launch party/ Opening of the Art Exhibition (Bar) -There is going to be free win!
7pm - Steel Magnolias (Main Stage) - Their synopsis is: Revolving around Truvy's Beauty Parlour, Louisiana, this is the story of the friendship of six Southern women. Filled with humour and heartbreak, these "Steel Magnolias" make us laugh and cry as the realities of their lives unfold.
9pm - The Other Guys (Bar)
10.30pm - Les Alcolytes (Main Stage) - This is the awesome french/jazz/funk/crazy band that was here last year. So much fun

Wednesday 26 April
2pm - The Unusual Suspects (Studio)- Hilarious new student writing!
4pm - Artwork: Work in the Arts, careers forum (Crawford Arts Centre)
7pm - Angels In America (Main Stage) - One more night of the sold out show! The intertwined stories of 7 individuals in New York in the 1980's who all are faced with struggles of identity and faith and one spectacular Angel hoping to stop mankind from progressing and continuing humanity's suffering. Hilarious and dramatic and filled with 3 times as many pyrotechnics this time around!

Thursday 27 April
4pm - Habeas Corpus (Studio)- This hilarious British comedy comes after a sold out run at the byre!
6.30pm - Belly Dancers (Bar)
7pm - Pot of Gold - from Glasgow STAGS (Main Stage) New theatre from our brethren at Glagow!

information is also available on the Byre website at www.byretheatre.com and you (might - depending on technical problems!) be able to get your tickets online. This really is an AMAZING week for theatre in St Andrews so come along and see as much as you can. The 5 tickets for the price of 4 is a great deal!
