This Year's Graduands

Postby Gealle on Sat Jun 10, 2006 9:54 pm

To all Graduands of the year.

Congratulations on finishing your studies. Look forward to the future; don't let it scare you too much! And just remember...

...Sandies is always here for you :)

Well done!
So someone asked me "What is it you do?". I thought about it for a minute. Then I thought about it a little more. All the while I probably looked like I was staring in to space, struggling for an answer. And I was. There was only one response I could really give.

Maybe this has been covered in an earlier thread, but I heard there were some celeb's from a-list to z-list graduating along with us people who have actually been here for four years or more and put in a little effort. So, who are they and when are they graduting? I'm at the thursday morning bash and I'd like to know who is joining me, if we're allowed such information.

It has been covered in a press release by the university, Sid.

Thanks, Gaelle.

Joanna Lumley is graduating at mine, I suppose that's quite cool. It's not quite Michael Douglas, but nonetheless.. Could be worse, could be the founder of Kwik-Fit!

Who, incidentally, is getting an honorary at my girlfriend's graduation...

...Poor lass, I got Bill Bryson. Saying that, I also fell on my arse...

To me, Joanna Lumley's more impressive than Michael Douglas!
