I'll be in St Andrews for various times during the summer, coming back a bit more 'properly' in August.

Me too- I have bought a nice summery shirt to wear for graduation, and I am worried it will rain. My fingers are crossed...

You mean there is something else to wear for graduation than full academic dress?!

Full Academic Dress is not a gown. A gown is part of Full Academic Dress.

He might mean that he bought a morning shirt (or whatever you call it) in special summery fabric in order that it wicks away the perspiration and leaves him feeling cool and dry on his special day.

Or *she* could mean that she got a shirt in light, summery fabric, cos i'm pretty sure Richey's said before that she's a girl ;-)

(Sorry to Richey if you are a guy and i got you confused with someone else :-P)
