We Got Motherfuckin' Snakes!!

I recently saw the trailer for Snakes On A Plane at the cinema, and it appears to have the potential to be something of a cult classic. Or it could just be shit. A bit of research on t'Internet brings up the following:

Among the entries for Snakes On A Plane on Urban Dictionary is this one:

At one point, the film's working title was altered to Pacific Air Flight 121. In August 2005, a perturbed Samuel L. Jackson told an interviewer, "We're totally changing that back. That's the only reason I took the job: I read the title."

I think that the pre-release hype surrounding this film has got the guys in marketing and advertising scratching their heads wondering how the hell they can repeat the phenomenon at their convenience.

I will be going to see it, no doubt. It wont matter how bad it is, its going to be a success, it has the potential to cement itself a perminant footnote in cinema history.

In fact, I so very much don't desire to see this movie that my desire has gone into the negative - I am compelled to actively dissuade others from seeing it purely because my lack of desire is so strong I cannot contain it entirely within my own being.
