Isn't it someone who throws bricks at horses and aniseed at dogs?

They'd be easier to avoid if there was still a Union board, but there's not.

Nah, they don't want us sad reactionary computer nerds posting silly recommendations on this board between handfuls of Wotzits.

Far better we all relocate to their own Forum and post there!

Now some people weren't happy about the content of that last post. And we can't have someone not happy. Not on the internet.

For a temporary removal, the disappearance of the Union board is looking increasingly permanent.

i heard it had something to do with a post from a certain Mr. Rennie. which was factually inaccurate and verging on libelous.

Somewhat like your above post? No?

Hmm, just went to take a look at that, but couldn't view the board without signing up. Upon clicking the Signup page, I noticed this:

By registering to this system St Andrews SA University Students' Union will keep you informed of what's happening at your Students' Union with regular newsletters.
Please be assured that your information will not be passed to any third parties for use in mailings and all emails you recieve from this site are from St Andrews SA University Students' Union.

I'm already "informed of what's happening at my student union" through Linkup, and through generally being in the union every day - I really don't want more spam to my inbox... particularly as there doesn't seem to be an opt-out link.

What is a Sab?

The Sabs are everywhere. They are all around us. Even now, in this very University. You can see them when you look out your window or when you log into the Sinner. You can feel them when you go to the Union... when you go to the Bop... when you pay your tuition fees. They represent the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth:

That you are a student, Kaiser. Like everyone else you were born into University. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind.

[hr]

...but then again, that is only my opinion.

Sabs are geeks, and, in general, not very good at sport (except the AU Sab who is a fine figure of a man). Most of them are loopy. They drink lots of coffee, and try to do good stuff for you every day... like this...

Actually, there is only one SAB: it stands for the Students' Association Board. Sabbs, on the other hand, are roughly as our esteemed President describes: full-time, elected student officers taking a year out of their studies or lives to work for (or against, depending who we're talking about) the student body. I was one last year, and thus become elligible to enter the halls of Valhalla - or at least to credit the time against whatever spell I come up for in Purgatory.

I'dve thought it would act as debit rather than credit in terms of purgatory. Along with people who cough in the theatre...

Good to know you're checking out my figure...

And Sabbs frequently work too hard to enjoy their American right to Thanksgiving! But then again they are not too busy to check the sinner...

Mohawk, I heard that you were a spineless bastard who stank of stale beer and piss.

Just passing that on, you know

in case you haven't twigged, tagging 'allegedly' or 'so i've heard' on to the end of a comment doesn't disassociate you from them.
