Facebook has started displaying the bright flashy flashy adverts - SHOOT THE DUCK!! and GET A PINK LAPTOP!!! THE BEST SMILLIES!!!!! DRESS YOUR ZWINKY!!!

Now it's open to anyone, their target audience is anyone, and passed by word of mouth. It was only a matter of time.

Capitalism, plain and simple.

I believe I have seen something similar long time ago there. This just shows the low respect for their users.

It's most likely that we'll see more advertising in the future. Already they're sticking things in the News Feed advertising movies and whatnot. I'm wondering if one day they'll offer a paid-for "Facebook Premium" sans adverts or something, and start making you pay for features... it may yet happen.

I was just thinking that myself, that YouTube had been denying that it was selling and then Google bought it. So, I predict that Mark Zuckerberg will sell Facebook eventually, or he will buy other networking sites and expand what Facebook can do.

All-in-all the CIA are watching.
