Medical application

I have applied to study medicine at St Andrews next year through UCAS and still have had not reply, is no news good news?

it's only january. i didn't get a reply until march. most people didn't. although, that year there was increased application. just hold tight i guess.

Yes, I believe no news is usually good news in these applications.

I got mine on the 6th of April and it was an unconditional, so worry ye not!

St Andrews was my last reply in UCAS applications, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's still not here. I recall I might have gotten it in February time, maybe later...

strange... back in the day st andrews was the first uni to reply to me! tho that was 3 years ago

Back in 2005, St. Andrews was the 2nd to reply. But then again, I applied from the Southern Hemisphere, so my timing was all boggled up. Don't worry about it.

It differs from case to case, and course to course. I got my acceptance a few weeks after some of my friends back in 2001, despite having better grades.

If the OP wants to post his/her grades, we can probably tell them whether nthey got in or not, with reasonable certainty.

Back in 1998 St Andrews was the last uni to reply to me and I didn't get my unconditional until March - I remember because it was the day before my birthday. Just keep your fingers crossed and sit tight.
