Clocks change tonight!

Just a quick reminder - put your clock forward an hour.
(yep, that means we lose an hour's sleep) :(

Tomorrow is Sunday, I will just get up at 5pm instead of the usual 4pm.

It's a lie, I tell you! The clocks don't change! Only you do!

Funky flunky munky...
So someone asked me "What is it you do?". I thought about it for a minute. Then I thought about it a little more. All the while I probably looked like I was staring in to space, struggling for an answer. And I was. There was only one response I could really give.

"I make sure the shit stays off the fan."

In time you will come to realise that there is no clock.

...but then again, that is only my opinion.

TIME IS BROKEN!

Postby Cain on Sun Mar 25, 2007 5:36 pm

Misleading subject headers aside, I thought that people might get a kick out of reading about just how time is kept accurate and determined in Britain.

By the way, Americans, our DST changed several weeks ago (for some reason we did it unusually early this year). So, if you're only changing them today, you've been an hour late to everything for the past few weeks. That's why your boss hates you, why you're friends aren't meeting you anymore, and why your mother keeps calling at ungodly hours.

I thought the US used to change them on the first Sunday of April or something instead of the last Sunday of March - i.e., still at a different date to us?

Just checked, and The World Clock (timeanddate.com) seems to agree with me. ;)

Bonnie is right. Didn't the earlier time change have something to do with saving energy?

I don't know, I just mindlessly changed my clock like my overlords told me to.
