Was in bloom yesterday at the Botanic Garden, not sure how long it will stay like that for but I think its a pretty rare occurance :)

at least it looks bizarre and not too disgusting.
was it full size yesterday? the picture at the bottom shows one in the US 4 days after full "bloom" and its already half gone (and it looks like something out of some alien film by that point :P ).

Is this one of the fly pollinated plants, hence smellign like rotting meat?
