The Gin House

Clearly I have been living under a rock somewhere and have missed what's going on in town, but what's happened to the Gin House? It seems to have been shut for at least 2-3 weeks (maybe longer).

Anyone shed light on this?

A massive fight erupted amongst the regulars over who was having the biggest mid-life crisis. The bouncers were unable to break up the fight, and the ensuing carnage gutted the building. Nobody emerged alive.

I think it could have something to do with all the road works or maintenance that is going on outside it. I went there last week to find it was closed - you couldn't get to the entrance for the workmen and their machinery so my guess is it's had to close until they finish.

I was told that it was bought over a while back, so my assumption has been that they're taking the oppertunity to refurbish it during a time they would likley have decreased business anyway(due to the roadworks).

Oh I love contributing to the melting pot of rumors and half fact.

I believe they are refurbishing it at some stage, but in what manner, how and when I could not say.

The vic and the gin house have been bought over. The gin house is re-opening in february. It will be renamed and there is talk of the vic being re-named too.
