The quarterfinal match (against Magdalen College, Oxford) is scheduled for Monday 4th of February.
I should note that Mr. Kelsey Jackson-Williams, the team's top scorer in rounds one and two, was not able to attend the quarterfinal match, despite numerous efforts to allow him to do so.
Mr. Duncan McKenzie takes his place at the far left.
I have heard a filthy rumour that ChristChurch Oxford wins the whole tournament (from my brother, an undergraduate at said uncouth institution)...if this were true could we have them disqualified for ruining the illusion of TV time?

You wouldn't steal a handbag. You wouldn't steal a car. You wouldn't steal a containership full of tanks. Piracy is a crime, do not accept it.
Quite. Though this could be a scaremongering/irritating tactic, I didn't think the final had even been recorded yet (isn't it broadcast in the summer?).
As you might have guessed, the subject of this year's UC is rather closely followed in my house!

A scientist on the team might not go a miss. But I suppose (well I hope) that was taken into account when the team was being selected. Not too bad an effort though. No disgrace to be put out in the quarter finals.
Well done for getting this far!
Just managed to catch the show. Sterling performance, guys - you're a tribute to the uni.

Oh... I didn't realise it would explode.
So someone asked me "What is it you do?". I thought about it for a minute. Then I thought about it a little more. All the while I probably looked like I was staring in to space, struggling for an answer. And I was. There was only one response I could really give.
