Hit me a bit too on hearing this. Was good fun when I was a kid watching Beadles About and YBF. It was even more interesting (and saddening) for me to learn that he was a very charitable man throughout his career.

He also had a library of 22,000 books, IIRC!

I just read that the post mortem carried out on Jeremy confirmed that he did indeed die from Pneumonia, but the coroners office couldn't establish an exact time of death.

Closest they could speculate was it occurred when the big hand met the little one...

Apparently Jeremy cheated on his wife for 5 years. Heath Ledger only did that in a film, and he was gay as well, so he wins.
