Pub quiz

Postby Hevelius on Wed Feb 27, 2008 11:15 pm

Does anyone know of any (preferably mid-week) pub quizzes in St. Andrews? Until recently we enjoyed the one in Drouthy's on a Wednesday, but it has stopped due to a change of management (I think).

Will the union pub quiz be coming back ever?

The Whey Pat always used to do a good pub quiz. Is that still going?

...then again, that is only my opinion.

There's a really good one at TPs (Pilmour opposite McIntosh). Just started. It has good prizes - bottles of wine, crates of beer, bottles of vodka and a cash prize (first week it was £51). It's on Mondays at 8.30. I'm going every week I reckon

The Union Pub Quiz is BACK!
It's changed it's day from Sunday nights to MONDAY nights. Come along and take part!

... saying that - I'm not sure if it's on tonight what with the live music from Shy Bairn in the Union main bar. Come along down anyway and hear some great live music followed by a Paddy's Day Bop in Venue 1... If there is a quiz tonight, then bonus!

...and as the red red robin of time goes bob bob bobbin under the snowplough of eternity.... I see it's time to end

Yep, it's on, and to coincide with St Patrick's Day and the end of Green Week, it's got a GREEN Theme (both Irish and environmental).

Due to Shy Bairn playing in the main bar, I won't be gracing the mic, but you will be able to pick up a quiz sheet and submit your answers for a chance to win a round of drinks.
