This was the point I was alluding to. Are the computers there for students use or students academic use? I would have thought the latter what with being in and owned by a university not an internet cafe. That being said although I'd feel sure I was in the right I'd hesitate before telling someone on Facebook to "fucking piss off" just in case the Uni actually has the computers there for general use.

The Conditions for the Use of Computers within the University don't make any mention of this, they do say "Guidelines on appropriate use of computing resources are available on the IT Services web pages." which is apparently false.

ResNet on the other hand is "for accepted academic purposes only.".
