Freshers Week Schedule?

Postby cjh on Sun Aug 17, 2008 1:44 pm

Does anyone know when this year's freshers week schedule is going to be posted? Any ideas what's happening?

It's going to be completely new this year.

Shit unknown radio DJ on the Tuesday.
Cheeky Girls on the Wednesday, but they are only going to be on for 2 songs and cost £13bn.
Thursday night is a hypnotist.
Friday is a new thing called "Midori Fresh".
Saturday is the first regular Bop.
Sunday is a ceilidh.

So, as you can see, it's completely different from every other year.

"The entirety of these definitions lie outside the gamut of the sRGB color space — such a pure color cannot be represented using RGB primaries. The color swatch to the right is a desaturated approximation, created by taking the centroid of the standard definition and moving it towards the D65 white point, until it meets the sRGB gamut triangle."

There is already a thread devoted to this (Main/thesinner/33462) - again, the last of the last details are being sorted. Expect new things - although 'foos schedule would have fit in previous years, there is a range of diferent things this time round.

I can confirm, however, that the Cheeky Girls and Radio 1 djs are off the radar.... for now.

Indeed. We're getting Hot Cops instead of Cheeky Girls this time around.

Fresher's week is starting on a Saturday (20th Sept)- and will run for 9 days, as was the case for every Freshers Week since 2003.

It wouldn't have been worth booking the Cheeky Girls if they wouldn't also bring Lembit Opik along too.
