Well I was none to impressed by the actions of a member of the Modern Languages Dept who evicted a number of students from Butts Wynd computer room this afternoon, so her class (of about 12) could have to whole room. At this stage of the year when the majority of courses are giving out essays which contribute to a substantial proportion of continuous assessment, was one of the only computer rooms where you can actually get a computer and work for as long as you want without it closing really the best place to hold such a class?

Yeah that happens in the Irvine regularly, except that its usually Management doing the evicting.
