seems most people have a weird food combo that they like... for instance last night i had super noodles served on a crumpet, and i am very partial to a jam and cheese sandwich. What's anyones favourite weird food combo speciality dish?

In the States, there's this particular brand of popcorn that's "cheese" flavoured (not Smartfood but that could be a good substitute). There's also this stretchy sugary chewey candy Airhead that will dissolve eventually in your mouth if you just leave a piece in there. For a while I was addicted to the cheese popcorn and particualarly the cherry Airhead combo. I even had a whole systematic pattern of how to eat it (stretched out piece of Airhead to whet the pallette, next 2 pieces of popcorn to excite the salt taste buds...)
peanut butter spread onto a banana and put in microwave for 30 seconds--I don't think it's weird at all but some do.Peanut butter and Fluff(marshmallow type stuff)!!!

I think about the weirdest thing I enjoy is alternate Polo mints and Galaxy Minstrels - terribly tame, I'm afraid.

Fromage de chevre and banana sounds nice though - might have to try it.

Banana and mars bar sandwiches. I Haven't had one in ages, but I used to like them. And I have this weird habit of putting just about any food in a sandwich (my flatmates are particularly disgusted by the idea of pasta sandwiches), but I've been told that this is a west of Scotland thing and I shouldn't expect them to understand.

[hr]It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I've always wanted to put cheese on eggs and Angostura bitters on bacon before frying them, and then accompany the whole fried breakfast with brandy. Never got round to doing it though.

In Scandinavia they serve jam on mashed potatoes. It sounds disgusting, but it is actually quite good if you try it!

My evil little brother melts mars bars on toast.

And I've made pasta sandwiches often. And curry sandwiches. Anything can be made into a sandwich.

GB, you know full well this is a Northern Ireland thing also :)
