Hogmanay in St Andrews

I know that this is a bit late in the metaphorical day to be asking, but is there anything on in St Andrews for Hogmanay?
Or, will there be any Sinners about tomorrow for the bells? I've heard legends of people getting together by the fountain in Market Street to ring in the New Year, which is more than happens in Dundee.

My plan A looks like its not actually going ahead any more.

i found this below on the fife direct website, but i've never been. It could be fun. We are headed to Edinburgh for the night and since all the cheap hotels are booked, we are going to hang out in a hotel lobby or something til the morning, should be exciting! And you could always do that at last minute, if you don't mind staying up all night in a lobby somewhere.
