Book sale THIS WEEK (and other important events)!

Just a quick reminder that this is the week of the Students' Association book sale!

If you have books you'd like to sell, drop them off in the foyer of the Main Library between 1-2pm Monday-Friday this week. You decide the price and if they don't sell, you can pick them up again.

To grab a bargain head to the book sale on Saturday 14th February between 12-4pm on the top floor of the Union.

The book sale is a great way for students to make some money by selling books they no longer require and save some cash by picking up books required for the next semester cheaply. Last semester's book sale was the biggest yet, so we're hoping for a good turnout!

Finally, I'd like to highlight two big events coming up, both on Wednesday 18th February. Between 2-3pm on the top floor of the Union we have June Knowles from Saltire presenting a course to help you avoid academic misconduct. Then at 4:30pm in the Arts Lecture Theatre we have the Representative Forum, which gives you the opportunity to meet and discuss issues with the Deans, Vice-Principals and Service Directors. The main topic of the day is 'feedback' - Do you get enough of it? Are you happy with the quality? Feedback is highlighted time and again by students as one of their key issues, so we hope to work together with the top decision makers in the University to make it better and improve your student experience. You'll also have the opportunity to put your questions to them on any subject and find out the latest news about the Library and other University news.

The book sale itself will take place on Saturday between 12-4pm on the top floor of the Union.
