I my experince at JBH, they are very unfriendly to outsiders in the hall- for example, I was physically intimidated for going in to put up a poster.

JBH has a rep for this kind of thing. Is it any wonder no one is going to go round for an 'apology'?

Its a personal invite, she will be greeted by our finest greeter. All the residents will throw palm leaves at her on arrival and sing a song of such beauty even she will weep.
She will be taken into the banquet hall to dine on a 2 star 2 course meal. She has the honour of sitting on the head table.
After dinner we shall all apologise one by one and she is welcome to leave or stay the night with Beast.

Anarchy, and the rest of the JBH people, aren't giving a very good impression of their hall.

Which is a shame, as the guys that we spoke to at the inter-residence hockey were nice guys and represented their hall with good competitive spirit in a tense, but ultimately fun, morning of games.

Looks like they were atypical of the hall. or are there any JBH residents who will stand up and say that they're a nicer bunch than are being portrayed on the sinner right now? i would like to think so.

How can deliberately hurting someone be defended as "a joke"?

I'm afraid that JBH has always had a reputation for housing arseholes. The only question is whether the residents are arseholes to begin with (perhaps there is a question on the residence application form along the lines of "Are you an arsehole?" that sends them straight to the JBH pile), or whether there is something in the water supply that renders previously normal people into typical JBH residents.

I apologise if there are any decent residents of that hall who have somehow slipped through the "arsehole net". Tell me, do you drink bottled water?

JBH does seem to have an abnormally high wanker index. A while ago I was reeling back from a night out, and wandered in there for a slash, as you do, and some berk started giving me strife and shoving me about, for no discernible reason.

Mind you, he was American.
