British and Irish Lions.

Now that the six nations is over, i was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to who should be in the lions squad? I have my opinions but it would be cool to hear everyones. My squad would be:

1. Alasdair Dickinson/ Gethin Jenkins
2. Ross Ford/ Jerry Flannery
3. Euan Murray/ John Hayes
4. Paul O'Connell / Nathan Hines
5. Alun Wyn Jones/ Simon Shaw
6. Ryan jones/ Joe Worsley
7. David Wallace/ Tom Croft
8. Andy Powell (if Fit, else Ryan Jones here instead of flanker)

9. Mike Blair/ Mike Phillips/ Harry Ellis
10. Stephen jones/ James Hook/ Ronan O'Gara(if he remembers how to kick)

11. Shane Williams
12. Riki Flutey/ Max Evans
13. Brian O'Driscoll/Gavin Henson
14. Tommy Bowe/Thom Evans

15. Lee Byrne/ Delon Armitage/ Chris Paterson


I think that is a strong squad. Anyone else fancy a go?

I would also put a pitch in for Toby Flood. As a Newcastle Falcons fan I know from his tenure at the club that he can play either fly half or centre to a high level (As a certain J.Wilkinson sometimes occupies the Number 10 Shirt) and thus he would be good cover for the backs in much the same way Austin Healey used to be.
Of course the aformentioned J.Wilkinson is due back this weekend to play for Newcastle and last time round he was taken on the Lions tour without playing any international rugby in the preceeding season..... but that may of been due to Sir Clive
