Got sent a link to this article in the guardian. I think it's one of the worst pieces of journalism I've read.

That article is so far off that I actually found it quite hilarious. She also seems to believe that 'transexualism' is an exclusively male-to-female phenomenon, whereas in my experience (and I've met quite a lot of transgendered persons) it's about 50/50.

I shouldn't take anything Julie Burchill says too seriously, and she wrote it over eight years ago now. God, she also wrote this around the same time:

And she said this in 2004:

People like looking at attractive people - think of that famous survey where babies smiled more at photographs of pretty faces - and the more they can look at, the better..

Yep. She used the word "Gayers".
