Who's in town?

Postby eagle on Wed Jun 10, 2009 3:40 pm

Who's in town at the moment? Shall we organise a get together at the weekend? Maybe even a Sinner Dinner that we've heard talk about?

I'll be around starting the 14th June until 8th August. I'm quite apprehensive... Hopefully I won't die of loneliness.

I'm here. =)
Isn't that wonderful? See? You're pleased.

A Summer Sinner Dinner sounds like an awesome idea. I would imagine, however, that everyone will be busy up to and including Grad Week. But, no matter.
I'm cool with the idea. =D

I'm around, for what it counts. And also, Mr Hedgehog, I've been told to see you and ask for a big wait. Or was that a set of weights. Hmm... o.o

A meetup is a fine idea.

A BBQ might be more appropriate for the weather that's expected this summer

Not quite as alliterative, though.

*confused*

In what way is "Summer Sinner Dinner" more alliterative than "Summer Sinner BBQ"?

Perhaps we should just go the whole hog and all it the "Summer Sinner Soiree"?

That's languages!
Not linguistics.
I'm allowed to make frequent cock-ups with language in that case.

Swap "alliterative" for " rhythmic" and the entire sentence is resolved, k? =P
Fucking pedants.

I'm about and bored as well.

And the 'summer sinner' part of 'Summer Sinner Dinner' is alliterative and the rest rhymes. Works way better than BBQ.

There be a facebook group for this as well --> http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=83542806480

Not much has really come out of said group, but I thought I'd link it anyway.

PS - I am also in town over summer, which isn't surprising considering I never leave.
