stuff to do

Postby el_duderino on Sat Jun 13, 2009 10:23 pm

Hello Sinners,
as I will be starting my dissertation writing next week I wanted to look for some 'healthy' hobbies to pursue in between marathon typing sessions.
Any ideas?
I heard the cosmos centre is still offering sports classes...
Cheers.

Well if you are going to be sitting in one place to write this dissert then you will need some healthy exercise. I recommend a good run, plenty of healthy exercise will help you keep fit and release endorphins to keep the mind balanced and able to assault the next academic bunker in your essay.

Alternatively you could sit in front of your computer screen until your soul gently weeps tears of pedantic wisdom and obscure, useless facts, which you deign to grudgingly bestow on your unenlightened peers in shady corners of the internet, miser that you are.
The Sinner.
"Apologies in advance for pedantry."

I've recently taken up squash and found it an excellent way to get some exercise, have some fun and while away the time. Even better there is an abundance of courts in town - ranging from free to very fairly priced!
...and as the red red robin of time goes bob bob bobbin under the snowplough of eternity.... I see it's time to end

masturbation.

think about all the awesome people of the opposite sex that being successful will get you. this works to relax you and act as motivation to get back to work.

haha I can imagine someone actually following that advice, and ending up crying pathetic tears into their notes, sinking into a pit of despair.

True, but that doesn't mean that every Scene girl this side of the nearest Fall Out Boy concert isn't trying to claim you.

I'm surprised that it's tears you're worried about being spilled on the notes...

anyone who jerks off literaly over their notes REALLY has a problem, and probably a loves their work so much that they would be in NO danger of doing shit in their dissertation.

Or has a fetish for an examination of the impact of National Socialistic propaganda film upon modern neo-nazi groups with regard to their efforts in how they deal with the scrutinising eye of the liberal mass media.

Obviously.

I fucking love that song, and it still always reminds me of the final climactic scene in Short Circuit 2.
