I must admit I'm a little confused; do the Aliens possess deactivated nuclear weapons or have they actually done the deactivation (in which case we presumably own the deactivated weapons)? That is, is 'deactivated' an adjective or a verb. Will this be factored into the governments re-examination of the cost-effectiveness of Trident, I wonder? I mean if Aliens can just deactivate them at will then we probably don't need as many warheads.
