Argh! New Zealand accents - no offence to any Kiwis out there - are terrible, like Australian but MUCH, MUCH more nasal.

An Newcastle accent as it was put, is more commonly refferred to as Geordie and is said to be one of the more friendly sounding UK accents. It rocks, not that I'm biased or anything !

Being a Savannah girl, myself, Miss Maryland, I can't say I agree with you. However, I will admit that I have transplanted myself to somewhat more cosmopolitan Atlanta, and that the accents of those who live in the outlying areas of Savannah are indeed redneck at best and in need of grammatical surgery as well.

I can do without Alabama accents and Bostonian ones as well.

Initially, she had severe language problems from which she eventually recovered. However, she was left with what sounded like a strong German accent and was ostracized by her community.

Does that mean nuclear attacks will result in the whole world ending up with Iranian or North Koream accents?

I doubt it. An air-raid in 1941 on Norway was more likely to have been conducted by the British.
