I love the way the title is "Guys, honest truth, skinny, or curvy girls?

There should be as much fuss kicked up over those who are trying to be anti slim/normal weight people (to try and make themselves feel better usually) as there is for those who are anti overweight people. If the thread had been titled "Guys, honest truth, normal, or obese girls?" well, you can see the point.

Curvy does not equal fat or slim, it is to do with shape not weight. And as much as it is all about being happy with your weight, you should also at least try to be healthy. My uncle is overweight and yet kickboxes and goes on marathon cycling expeditions. Over weight but fit and happy. Then I have an aunt who is more overweight yet her husband tells her she is fine. She is not very fit and not very happy.

Fitness and naturalness and happiness (all three) should be important. Not shape or weight or whatever.

It's a mixture...

I'll speak from my point of view.....I like a girl that has a little something going on, but just a little...some good curves with the tits and a nice round ass, but just enough. I know this sounds like probably what every guy looks for, but I am speaking for myself. From my perspective, there is nothing worse than a girl that looks like she hasn't eaten anything for a month (little exagerrated, but you get the point) whereas a girl that has just enough can really look awesome. All I can say is there needs to be enough to show off some curves, but not so much that one sees everything thats going on. At the same time, too little and a girl looks like a starved emaciated girl which isn't attractive at all. Hope this helps out...

guys like skinny girls

Postby AmberJ on Thu Jul 15, 2004 11:27 am

From personal experience:
The skinnier I am, the more guys are attracted to me.

My weight has been all over the map, but the ligher I am, the more guys want to be more than friends. Even guys who adored my personality at my heavier self wouldnt have dreamed of pursuing more until now that I'm thinner.

And it's not like I was the side of a barn before either.

And when at a time i was "too skinny" well that was also when i was deemed "sooo hot" by the men.

Healthy shmealthy. Guys like twigs.

I definatley prefer curvey. It looks more womanly. I don't like skinny bimbos like Nichole Kidman or Kylie. Doesn't do anything for me. I like Thora Birch. NOW THAT IS MY IDEAL WOMAN! But then I like Kim Deal out the Pixies, so maybe I've not got the best opinion on the subject.

Kylie has a nasty mouth.

Skinny is better to look at, less skinny better to cuddle.

I don't know. Kylie and women like that don't do it for me. I find their look too mainstream and bland. A bit like Britney Spears and people like that. I guess I'm into the goth/indie chick look. Different strokes for different folks.

Have to disagree there, old boy. Kate Moss or Kelly Brook - hmm, not a tricky one for me.

oh jesus please tell me that was in jest!

the phrase "Face like a melted welly" springs to mind, but then again I'm sure she has a wonderful personality, and next to Black Francis, I suppose she is rather, um...attractive

UPDATE:

Personally I prefer curvy girls, for the reasons below

a)They generally don't give a shit and are happy with the way they look, at least a whole lot more that skinny girls who diet all the time to maintain their figures.

b) Going out for meals etc. is a more enjoyable experience, as they do not insist on ordering a stick of celery and a glass of water as the main course

c)they're more cuddley on a cold night

Yes, If i want to go out with a girl who has a similar figure to Kate moss, I'll just save myself some time and money by going out and buying a garden rake from B&Q
