The School of Psychology invites you to participate in a PhD research project investigating the cognitive processes invoked in evaluations of past experience. The present experiment comprises a series of recognition tests, followed by a standardised test of working memory and a short attitudes questionnaire.
An eligibility restriction applies, in that we are only looking to recruit participants for whom English is their first language and who are not dyslexic. Anyone who participated in my previous word decision-making experiment is also unfortunately ineligible.
The study will take place in the Psychology Building in St Mary’s Quad. The majority of the experiment will be computerised (excepting the short questionnaire) and will take up to 90 minutes to complete in its entirety.
You will be reimbursed at a rate of £5 per hour e.g. for participation of typical duration 90 minutes, you will receive £7.50 compensation.
The study is run weekdays from 10am-5pm. If interested, email rdm7@st-andrews.ac.uk to arrange a session.
