I think that if we're going to have usernames on the back, a rugby shirt would be better. Imagine it, a normal looking rugby shirt, but with the badge as the crab holding/shaking the stick. And your username on the back.

What does that work out to be?
"I'm a Sinner"?
"Sinner inside"?
What?[/i]

Says "Sinner", and why don't you know binary Richz?

That would be a sin.

how about sinner hoodies with the stick/crab logo as the badge with our user names on the back?

then again could be getting a little too expensive and difficult to arrange...

Well soooooorrrrrrrrry! I'm not a comp Sci student. Although I have done binary before, and probablly could have worked it out, but why would I want to waste a couple of minutes doing that when I can get someone else to do it!

how can you write words in binary, seeing as it is a number system? maybe im being dumb here but surely you could only represent some from of code for the word sinner with binary...

Each group of 8 digits forms a code which represents a letter (or a character if we're being precise).

01010011=S 01101001=I 01101110=N 01101110=N 01100101=E 01110010=R

I hate to be a pedant (...ok, I don't really. I love it. I live for pedantry) ...but it actually says "5inner". The author is obviously l33t, or spends too much time talking to k1dd10ts.

The code is ASCII which was defined "a long time ago" and is the main standard for representing characters in binary.

Er the message as coded says "Sinner"

I.e. 01010011 = S whereas 00110101 = 5

If it was 733t it would be "51n3r" (or something like that) which in binary is

appologies.
Lookup error.
01010011 = 0x53
then I looked up decimal 53 in http://www.asciitable.com
I even quadruple checked myself.

Do we want to go for geeky t-shirts, or non-geeky?

Example of geeky:

202: Accepted
204: No content
303: See other
403: Payment required
410: Gone
503: Out of resources

And perhaps for when we branch out to provide branded underwear:
403: Forbidden
405: Method not allowed
411: Length Required

Don't thinkgeek.com do branded underwear with those slogans?

I think the geeky underwear idea is amusing.

What happened the idea of a rugby shirt, with the sinner crab/stick in logo, but only when you look close and realise it isn't the St Andrews one? With names on the back? That would be good.
Or if pople didn't want to get a rugby shirt, they could get a T-shirt, with jokes upon them.
