If you'd read the relevant information then you'd be aware that the system is based on credits.

All modules have a certain number of credits - and if you pass you receive these. The reason is so that you have a chance to change your mind as to your degree couse in case you decide that you want to do shoe studies and not astrophysics. You need 120 credits in a year as a minimum, although the distribution per semester is variable.

To the best of my knowledge DRH will give you a duvet but lacks any TVs in personal rooms. There is 1 kitchen a block but often people will simply eat out or order in.
