Patrick Hamilton

Anyone know if the uni has a service for Patrick Hamilton this year (Protestant martyr, executed 1528 - the spot marked by the initials PH)? I was just wondering as it's a leap year, and I believe he was executed on Feb. 29? I do have vague memories of such a service taking place four years bypast, but am afraid I didn't take much notice of it at the time!

there was a service last year as well. it was ok, but seemed to be pretty much like any church service. i think it would be worth doing at least once, just to get a sense of the history of the town.

The service this year's on Sunday, actually - the Chaplain announced it last Sunday at Chapel. The move has to do with the fact that it's very rare for the anniversary of his martyrdom to fall on a Sunday.
