It was so awesome seeing it on the big screen!! Wahoo!! And I really love the line where David Bowie says, 'fear me, love me, do as I say, and I will be your slave'. Such a great film! Except for the head throwing goblin things - that scene still freaks me out. Anyway, cheers to the NPH. :D

It's really a big thanks to The Jim Henson Company and LucasFilm.

Glad you enjoyed it :)

I forgot though how much it verged on boarderline paedophilia though (David Bowie singing songs to a 14 year old girl about how he can't live without her etc)

Cracking Show though-I guess it resembles what most people would experience under the influence of LSD, which I've always wondered at

Just pretend it's Japanese - that makes it acceptable.

Bowie is hot stuff. he still looks sexy in his 50s.

Well, I think by the time Labyrinth came along Bowie had done pretty much everything under the sun. I think he could remember his lines in this period though. Unlike now of course. The film itself feels much like an acid trip at times.

Nostalgia value only. My flatmate had never seen it so I dragged him along. For the first half he sat there saying "this is without a doubt the worst film ive ever seen" for the second half he fell asleep. What a misspent childhood he must have had.

This is the same guy who had never seen Goonies either.

I must admit, I remember it being better. So know my memories of Labyrinth are Bowie's packet on a big screen and disappointment. Which is a shame.

Alas! I missed it on the big screen but my friend bought me the DVD for Xmas. It's great!!! I LOVE David Bowie's hair . . I just love him in this film period (apart from the pants I admit - was the costume designer on something?) But what would he have done if she'd fallen into the stink bog?
