Yep i'm going. The highlight of the weekend I reckon will be the pixies, and it'll be really great to see bowie.

Bet there'll be loads of clashes... I think the chemical brothers are on at the same time as the strokes and such like. Slam tent for me!

Looking at the flyers (a preliminary guide rather than a definite one) Stellastar* and Franz Ferdinand could clash, which sucks as they are both on my MUST SEE list.

i'm planning on seeing
(sat) Keane, MUSE!, the Darkness (saturday looks quite bad for me)
(sun) electric six, snow patrol, stellastar*, Goldfrapp, Franz Ferdinand, the Pixies.

i'm not camping; i have a mate who lives in perth and i;'m crashing at his - carpets! walls! showers! indoor flushable toilets! hot food that doesn't cost £15 and come free with gutrot.

terrible - i'm a prawn sandwich munching festival goer.

I love how on the Sunday you can totally tell the difference between the campers and the day trippers!

i know that on sunday you can tell the one day people from the weekend people - the number of people with lobster arms and peely wally backs was unreal, but that could just as easily have been daytrippers like us.

and i won't be laughing at you if it rains - i'll be in it too, it's just that i'll hvae a dry bed to go to.

Da! I am going, though I'm not a sinner. Well, I am, but not in the way you mean. Also, because I am old lady of 26, I am staying in a B&B for the weekend. It seems I'm not the only one - all accommodation within a 30 mile radius is full-a-rama now.

I was there to see REM last year, and they sucked ass. It's like they've stopped trying or something. The most memorable thing about their set was Michael Stipe's interesting eye make up, which made him look like he had conjunctivitis.
