Price of Drinks?

According to the Push Guide to universities, the average price of a pint in Student Unions is £1.89, how does this compare to St Andys? What are the prices of other drinks like? How is the range of drinks? At home my selection is quite limited, what is the choice there like?

I think a lot of the prices in the Union have just gone up by around 10 pence. The Main Bar has had a bit of a refurbishment too.

Well Velvet was always £1.50 last year so I think Tennents would be the same ---- Why no ales or proper bitters though? I know we have Newcastle Brown but at £2 for the only decent beer seems a bit harsh. Surely as we have Stella on we could have Boddingtons same brewery or some guest ales. It's always baffled me.

Yep, Tennants certainly was £1.50, although I find it's only drinkable with lime, which is charged extra in the union despite taking away from the volume of beer served.
