My Dear, You have a fine signature and I would gladly collect it.

You are so sweet, Mr. Potton- but you have no need to pay fifty pence for my illegible scrawls, as you already have them on the birthday card I sent you.
A vaguely interesting idea on the collecting things in order to gain a free drink- much fun could be had.

About the free drinks thing- here's an idea;
The first person to go up to Tobias 'formerly known as Barry' Joss and shout "Alright Bazza" in his face on Wednesday night should try to get a free drink of their choice from the steward.

The first person to do that will indeed get a free drink, I'll throw it in their face.

And, out of curiosity, do I know you? Or is this a random decision to mock me?

He is your academic grandson, as am I also a son of David; the answer to your other question is that he mocks everyone, because he is a drunken fool, and as he reminds everyone, "went to a state school".
You will know me because I will be serving me drinks.

There's a lot of deleting going on on this thread. That can't be Richard because 1) he never posts under Richard, but Tweedle-Dum - and 2)He's at Schools debating tonight. I would guess that it's somebody mocking Mr. Watt as opposed to Mr. Joss.

A son of David who? Seems more likely that he/you are academic great-grandsons by this stage...

Ah, splendid. The only thing I like better than being served drinks is being bought drinks. I shall look forward to meeting everyone. Tho, as is common in the elderly, I may forget who you are within moments.

I have to say, Miss Wilson, that I reckon it was Richard; the profile, being insulting, etc. give it away. Neither he nor I went to schools debating, but no-one bothered to inform me, which was unfortunate, because I had been preparing by drinkina all afternoon, and was quite satisfied with the purple port stain on my lips.

Richard, tell me what you said to Tobes.

well, I did delete the message, as I thought I had seriously angered Mr. Joss, which I had not meant to do.

The jist of it involved my encouragment to go up to him on Wednesday night and shout "Alright Bazza" in his face in an attempt to try and get a free drink out of the Steward, our dear sister, Miss Stoves for our effort.

Sorry, I thought I was being funny.

Deary me, it'd take more than that to anger me! But apparently I seem angry quite a lot.

unfortunately, Richard, the Steward shall not be rewarding rude behaviour with drinks.

In response to the question about where the psychology foyer is: It is behind LPH, if you come through the large gates just next to the entrance to LPH, it is on your left handside. Hope that is helpful.

I love you!

That's not me

Postby Tweedle-Dee on Wed Nov 26, 2003 12:43 pm

Oddly, enough that couldn't have been me writing that, because I was busy on both occasions with witnesses.
I also know that Richard is at Schools tonight, because Kizzy wanted to keep us apart in case we got drunk and insulted the children.
If I were gay, or female, Mr. Watt would not be the object of my desires; even indeed when I am drunk, that doesn't count, because it wouldn't happen. see the ridiculous; it mentions neither Sallies nor Gowns; ergo, it obviously wasn't me.
So cut the sass, Captain Sassy-Pants-that shit is not cool.

May I express my outrage someone else posting in my name. And would I ever write the profile "I am a fool, how dare you"
My own is much more entertaining, have a look!
