Maidens Competition

Postby kdc4 on Mon Oct 10, 2005 11:49 am

This year's Maidens looks to be a much bigger event than previous years, with plenty of eager and talented fresh speakers. As a result, I'm going to need loads of folk to judge and dummy on the day of (15th October). This is an ideal opportunity for new judges and a great refresher for old hands on the schools/IV circuit. If you can make it to Venue 2 of the Union on the day of (be there for quarter to noon), that would be awesome.

Also, if you could just drop a quick email to kdc4, to tell me if you can make it, that would do wonders for my sanity!

Cheers,
-Doug

Perhaps some explanation. The first 3 numbers after your name are your scores (out of 100) in each round. The fourth number is your total over the three rounds.

The top 12 speakers went to semi-finals, and 3 speakers from each semi went into the final.

And to reiterate Doug, the standard this eyar was a lot higher than normal, thanks to everyone who participated!
