Training/IV Update

No training sessions during reading week, at all, b/c we either aren't here or can't be asked.

I'm more than happy to meet with individuals/teams for the mace who may wish to have my imput on prepping, do contact me @ kdc4 if such help is desired.

Also, our Mace round is scheduled for the public speaking slot on Monday the 13th. Those who want to see public speaking in action (and cheer on Connie and myself) are more than welcome to attend: half-seven Lounge at the Mansfield.

BTW: Jason and Tony broke to finals @ Newcastle and semis and Durham whilst Connie and Doug also semied and Durham.

I don't have the tabs, though, so if someone else could post full results, that would be cracking.

P.S. According to Maynard's uni debating league tables, St. A's is now 3rd nationally behind Oxbridge, though that is somewhat skewed by Durham's inability to compete in its own tournament.

Excellent news that we're now third, with all to play for as Oxford and Cambriddge IVs take up the next two weekends, so each of them will only be able to compete in one! And after two weekends in a row of missing the break by speaks, Chris and I want blood!

Well done to all those who did break to the finals at Bristol, Newcastle and Durham; it was a pleasure to watch you (I only wish the same could be said for all the non-St Andrews teams finalling at Newcastle!!!)
