Schools Competition

Hey All

Tomorrow the Debating Society is running its annual schools competition. We have 28 teams, so it should be good! Any help would be much appreciated - we'll be in the union from 10am till 5pm, so please just pop along whenever you're free.

It was good! - and appreciated by its participants. Lunch was especially wonderful - I don't think I have ever had smoked salmon sandwiches at a schools comp before! - well, not at domestic level anyway.

I think I might have agreed with the losing side of the split on the final judging panel but as I have said more than once - these kids tend to be the very tops in everything - never mess up exams - don't know what failure is. Then come university interviews - so if you have been a debater and lost finals - you get tougher! Good training!
