How is the womens hockey at St Andrews? That includes the social side aswell as on pitch mass murdering.

There's a local club, madras women, who are a very good team. They did the double the year before last, and anrrowly missed out on the treble, and i think that there might be a bit of restructuring for this season, so there's a good chance to stake a claim for a regular spot.

They train on thursday evenings on the astroturf at the AU, which is their home pitch, and is one of the better pitches in the area.

socially they're good fun as well, and there's a fair age range in the club from about 16-40something.

They're a good team - try them out.
