Hi! I start my course at the School of International Relations in Sept. Been confused about which residence to apply for. Have more or less zerod down on Angus & Stanley Smith or Albany Park. Which one is better in terms of facilities and room size etc?

I have never lived in either place but I know those who have.

Albany - Huge plus of the beach being right on doorstep and I believe it is quite a quiet residence. Loads of parking if bringing a car to St Andrews

Stanley/Angus - Right in the centre of town - right by Tescos. Not much parking.

I think in terms of facilities they are quite similar, but someone who lives there will be able to give you some more advice.
