Is Deans Court haunted?

Hello all!

I come to St. Andrews next year for my MA and I've heard things here and there about Deans Court having a ghost or two floating around. I would love to hear any stories from other students! (not to worry..I don't scare too easily!)

Deans Court is not haunted. Ghosts do not exist.

Oh, you mean *reputedly* haunted? Almost certainly not. There are very few stories that haven't simply been invented by residents. A few new ghost stories get added to the collection each year, and a few old ones die out.

You seem to be contradicting yourself somewhat. If there are a very few stories that have not been invented then there must be a few - albeit a very few - that are not made up.
